I was appointed as the Head Professional at Sidmouth Golf Club in April 2011 and the new image of The Professional Shop has made a very positive impact with members and visitors to the club and we look forward to extending the best service and most competitive prices in the area to you.

I embarked on a career in the golf industry in 1999 when I started working as an assistant at Woodbury Park. I worked there for 9 years gaining valuable experience working at a commercial complex under the instruction of Golf Director Alan Richards.

During my time at Woodbury Park I gained valuable experience in coaching all sorts of clients from old, young, members, non members and even football superstars. I helped organised big client corporate golf days, charity events such as UK Youth and members competitions. I assisted the European Seniors Tour in running the Nigel Mansell classic for 3 years and I under took the National PGA degree program.

Once I completed my training, I seeked a new challenge within the industry and was appointed as Head assistant professional at East Devon Golf Club under the guidance of very experienced Advanced PGA professional Trevor Underwood who taught me all I needed to know to be successful as a club professional.

After a varied and comprehensive first 12 years working as a PGA Professional I will use all my skills, experience and knowledge from my previous roles to deliver exceptional PGA service at Sidmouth Golf Club. I look forward to continuing to provide the members, their guests and all visitors to Sidmouth the very best possible experience.
